CARE & MAINTENANCE OF YOUR MASCOT
1. Head
- Hang the mascot after wearing it to air them out before storing.
- To clean the head, put it in a bucket or plastic garbage can with cold water and a cup of gentle wash detergent (Woolite). Soak for 20 minutes, rinse, squeeze and air dry.
- The soft helmet can be removed and machine-washed.
- A sanitizing spray (Ozium) may be sprayed in the head to deodorize and eliminate bacteria between wearing.
2. Body
- The body can be cleaned the same as the head, if the body has foam in it. Or they can be machine-washed warm and tumble-dried on low heat or hung to dry. The clothing can be washed on perm press cycle.
- For spots such as lipstick, ink or mustard, I recommend Oxyclean.
3. Hands & Feet
- Hands and feet can be machine washed with liquid detergent and should be washed often. Dirt should not be allowed to set.
With a little care, these costumes should last 10-12 years. They are under warranty for the first five years. If you lose a glove or tear a seam, please call me. I hope you enjoy your mascot for many years.
Thank You,
Carol Flemming
